Special Days
Yesterday we acknowledged Columbus Day. We marvel that three small ships, the Pinta, the Nina, and the Santa Maria completed the voyage. As I googled special days, I was amused to find that there are are designated days to celebrate Bald and Free, and in fact, Columbus Day is also designated as National Angel Food Cake Day. There are days commemorating Moldy Cheese and International Skeptics Day.
I’m reminded of a simple but profound verse. Psalm 118:24
This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad today!
Every day is a day to celebrate our Creator. Every day is a day to celebrate that He placed us here on purpose. Every day is His day.
