Moving
More than a decade after Nine Eleven, most of us have moved on seldom noticing our changed lives. We’re annoyed at the airport over invasive search procedures, but we move on.
Many families who’ve lost a Dad or daughter in the tragedy have moved, literally. One Mom moved her family of 6, three biological and one adopted at the time of the Twin Tower disaster, and two adopted afterwards. She didn’t want the constant reminders and questions that might keep her family facing backwards. A life of moving on? Hardly. But moving for sure. Her family tree was severely shaken, and her children have struggled.
One mom and dad have moved 4 times and are still searching for a place of comfort. The memorial celebration is over. But lets not forget.
