The Day Before Thanksgiving
The day before Thanksgiving and 200 widows have already been celebrating God’s blessings. 100 in Savannah Georgia, and 100 in Chattanooga. We sang, clapped, enjoyed turkey and marveled that in our invisible, sometimes not so treasured status as widows, God declares that He is our Defender, our Husband, that He loves us more intentionally in our vulnerable state. We recounted to each other his protection and provision over this past year.
Yes, I’ll go public and state that Family Christian Ministries loves us and has given us so much including Thanksgiving meals and gifts. Andy Mendonsa with Harvest Ministries in Chattanooga has repaired homes, encouraged and prayed. And many of you have given and prayed for Widow Connection.
The day before Thanksgiving, thank you and thank God for all He has done.
