What kind of cars do spiritual people drive? Admit it. We have opinions. My six foot three husband bent himself into a GEO which was the size of a tin can and smiled all thirty seven miles to Chicago’s loop getting 55 miles per gallon. A colleague commuted with him. No, there was no room for coffee cups.
I, on the other hand, today drive a Hummer 2. I don’t reveal numbers and extreme snow fall doesn’t impact me. Yes, this widow feels safe in my Hummy and can go anywhere in any weather.
Does God have an opinion? He cares that we have a balanced budget, are generous, and steward all our resources. And He knows our secret fears, why we make the decisions we do. He sees beyond our ride into our hearts. Good to remember.
