Speak encouragement

As Christ followers we have an all important mission today. One pure stand out in our present toxic culture is this.  We can speak encouragement to others. Thanking a worker in the check out line, the librarian, delivery truck driver.

But lets go a step further.  Think of a relative, child, spouse, sister or brother.  Text, write, or call with a specific, planned word of encouragement for them.  ‘I see you putting others before yourself.  You have a servant’s heart.  What a blessing.’“I’ve seen your loyalty to friends, and family.  They know they can count on you.”Jesus did this.  He called Peter a rock. Matthew 16: 18.  Imagine the impact on Peter after Jesus’ departure to Heaven.  Speak encouragement to someone today.
