Reminders

Helping my grandson move in to his new dormitory room at college, we unpacked his necessities and treasures for his new life.  Shirts, jeans, desk supplies, printer.  Lots of stuff had to fit in a tiny space.
Two plaques were intentionally included which surprised me.  One was his award brackets and picture winning first place in wrestling sectionals his Senior varsity year.  The other the award for full tuition academic scholarship.  While one he displayed and one he tucked in a drawer, both show his desire to have these tokens of encouragement from his past for his new future.
What about you, my friend?  Facing a new day, reach back and treasure what brought you to this day.  Place a reminder where you need it.  Trust God to use what He wishes for your new day.
