Profit and loss

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money M Are you watching the stock markets, interest rates, home values?  Or just hoping  to survive one day at a time?  Living in a prosperous country, traveling to places where people, especially widows, struggle to find their next meal, I’m forced to think about what matters.  Philippians 3: 7--9 reminds me that what I count as profit, is loss compared to having Christ.  What we think we have is rubbish, compared to the treasure of Christ.

V We met widow, Nadine, in Mathare Valley, a Christ follower caring for her children, nieces and nephews.  Her home is barely twelve square feet, a small corner for cooking, one pot, sleeping mats.  Nadine’s treasure matches mine.   We are both eternally wealthy because we both have the treasure of Christ.
