New Widows
With Thanksgiving just days away, your plans are probably made. A day of feasting? A day of football? A day when you make an elaborate shopping list for Friday? Typically the day after Thanksgiving is the day most retailers celebrate. Its one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Yes, my children have risen during the night to camp out at favored stores with great buys.
May I suggest that you take time today to address a card to a woman you know who has become a widow this year? If she has children at home, how about including a gift card, even a fast food card will do. Let them know that you realize their Thanksgiving will be different this year.
And that you have not forgotten them.
