Lessons at a Rail Road crossing

A long train.  Putting my vehicle in park, I reached for my iphone to check emails, texts, and the markets.  Why am I annoyed?  What if I had no connection for 8 minutes?  I realized how dependent I have become on activity and work at all times.

“Be still and know that I am God.”  God gently brought that reminder at that rail road crossing.  I put my phone down and worshipped him, thankful for that long train.

He numbers our days, He knows each minute, He knows our responsibilities, our temptations and our weaknesses.
Disconnect and listen.  ‘Be still.’  Life will go on.  ‘Know I’m God.‘   ‘My plans for you are better than your plans for you.’
Thank you Lord, for that reminder.  You can use even long trains in my life for Spiritual blessings.
