Investment choices, growth or dividends

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about moneyM Picking the products in your investment portfolio is important, personal, and should be YOUR choices.  I spoke recently to a retired, single woman whose portfolio is determined by others.  They’ve changed their model to charge her more for those services.

V She needs to first look at what she is invested in.  Lets start with a simple differentiation.  Dividend stocks are popular with some.  Long term income, large companies, proven track record.  Advantage, that dividend.  Disadvantage, slower growth. Growth records are almost flat.  However your risk might be smaller.  Some have done something right or they could not give that dividend.

M  Good start!  My friend is learning, she’ll be one of those wise stewards in Matthew 25.
