Gratitude

Increasingly the dialogue in our country is about who owns what and how ‘stuff’ should be distributed.  Say 99% and people think about marches and protests, not a test score.  The reality is that God owns it all, but I haven’t heard that mentioned.

He created everything and is simply allowing us to be His stewards for awhile.  That fact floods me with gratitude.  That He created a world where plants grow for food, we can work, cultivate, plan, and learn.  We are blessed.

I Samuel 12:24 is a treasure.  “But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.”

If each of us focused on writing our gratitude list, we’d have little time to compare, envy, or whine.
