God does not exist
I read a troubling editorial letter to my newspaper. In the context of the recent ruling of the United States Supreme Court allowing Christian prayers at public meetings, this individual wrote:
“The way I see it, God needs all the political welfare he can get right now because more and more people are realizing the invisible being simply doesn’t exist. Science is now the new Bible and reality is the new God.” His letter was much longer. However, I read his name, thought carefully about him, his life today, and his future. Has he observed a newborn baby, even seen that birth? Has he witnessed any beauty on this planet? Has he observed the heavens with telescope or even simply his eyes?
Yes, even he will bow his knee before God and declare that God is God.
