I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about moneyM  Days of stress and disruption challenge us to study Scripture with a fresh openness to applying God’s word today.  Given the employment disruption, 1 Timothy 5:8 is important. ‘Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.’V In Jesus’ day, those who did not want to obey his words might have asked this question: “Who is my relative?’  Instead lets ask, ‘Who might I help?”  “What is in my hand that I can share?”One prayer God always answers is, “Show me who I can help and how.”  Scripture says that even a cup of cold water matters.
