I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about moneyM  Is your budget dependent on credit cards or hope that your income will be larger next year?   Are you comparing what you have with others?V  With our Christian beliefs being challenged in our culture, and 2021 promises to continue that erosion, our foundation for our spending must be secure.  Jesus parable in Matthew 7: 25--27 illustrates that a house built on sand will fall in the rain.  A house built on a rock will stand firm.  In 1 Samuel 16:7  God told Samuel that people look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

M  Spending to compete with others is a foundation that cannot stand.  Credit card living is building on sand.
