Dune Buggy Riding

Oregon’s dunes are beautiful, scary, and inviting.  So why not take a dune buggy ride?  Preferring to trust a driver rather than my own skills, I settled back to take in the beauty and excitement worry free.  Almost.  How can you describe the thrill of flying straight up a dune into the air and coming to an abrupt halt on top practically dangling on an everchanging nonroad?  60-foot-high waves of sand gave way to the ocean’s waves.  And we sped off even faster.

After the ride?  My driver’s simple explanation:  I know my rig.  I know the dunes.

If life is taking you on a wild ride, you only have on smart choice.  Only God can be your driver.  It’s His rig and His dunes.  He knows it all.  Our job?  Trust.
