Dooms day expectations

I’m Miriam  Neff with Wise Women Managing Money-and I’m Valerie Neff HoganM When our world shakes, which happens regularly, some succumb to dooms day expectations.  All is bad.  Everything will implode.  Our financial institutions, our freedoms in our country.  In my youth some were building underground bunkers, in Southern Indiana!V  As Christ followers we need the foundation of truth that God is in control.  Not evil leaders of countries, or even the weather.  Wisely we prepare.  We have 3-6 months savings to cover our living if jobs go away, home repairs needed, or health issues.  We carry appropriate insurance for the unexpected. We help each other through hard times.

M Be careful who you listen to.  Dig into Scripture FIRST.  And then listen to others and look at the world.
