Domicile Workshops
I recently became aware of popular workshops for state domicile verification. Folks are on the move looking for states with low income tax, employment, and life style possibilities. Florida is a popular destination, so, Florida domicile workshops are popular and well attended. Its complicated to leave a high tax state such as Illinois and establish primary residence there.
In fact, Illinois tries to intervene and keep those folks taxes rolling in to Illinois, thought folks have moved.
I see a spiritual parallel. When we become Christ followers, our true home is heaven, though we’re still here for a bit. That location is safe, secure, and no one can snatch those benefits. Yet the evil one keeps telling us that we owe him and he owns us. Not true. Heaven is safe, sure, and benefits beyond our imagination.
