Discontentment in ministry
Onetaboo topic is being discontent with one’s ministry, what God has given us todo in His Kingdom. Being human, just aswe compare living spaces, clout, we sinkto wishing for gifts we do not have, outreach we do not have, accolades. I remember wishing I had a beautiful singingvoice so I could sing duets with my musical husband. Never happened!
Itstempting today, having started Widow Connection, Inc. we are small, grassroots. After hearing my pastor speak onthe sin of discontent and how to rid ourselves of it, I came to the conclusionthat I am not only grateful, but thrilled to be President of Small.
To beanything else would be denying God’s sovereignty giving me any assignment thatmatters to Him.
