Contentment

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money M With my counselor hat on, I consider the question:  What emotion impacts our spending to a huge degree?  Contentment.  Contentment, or lack there of drives greed, theft, even impacts spending.

 V  The Apostle Paul describes this  Philippians 4:12I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

 Paul was highly educated as a Pharisee and a Roman citizen. Those credentials could have lead to wealth.

 M  He was content in prison, probably hungry and cold, yet content.
