Choose life
Choose life! Of course, we want to breath another day. We also want that day to be a good one. We can guarantee neither. Both breath for each day and its events are out of our control. It’s all in God’s hands whether we admit it or not.
But we do have choices. We can choose life that is purposeful, invigorating, productive. Read Deuteronomy 29 through 32. Moses explains to God’s people what happens when we live by God’s direction: life, blessings, and His comfort whatever circumstances bring. But we can choose to ignore and violate God’s direction. That is a death choice. Even though breathing, we miss His comfort, his direction, his blessing.
As Moses challenged his people in Deuteronomy 30:19, now choose life!
