Change your public school
School impacts children. 55 million will soon go through those doors to be influenced by teachers, curriculum, deans, counselors, coaches and peers, to name just a few influences there.
A requirement in our country, some are eager, some dread it, but all must do it. Children are precious to Jesus. Whether clean and well behaved, tiny or teens, Jesus loves them. Having had a twenty six year career in public high schools, I wish I could say that each student is treated as a precious person at school. Schools get it right sometimes.
You can make a difference in your school. Become involved in the public school in your community. Volunteer or work there. You will bring salt and light to a very important place.
