Change of address

Family members recently helped friends move from their charming family home to a temporary rental.  It was not a move of choice.  Rather than the cheerful chatter of happy movers and eager new plans, the mood was subdued.  Much stuff, smaller space, maybe not the last move.

A common happening today.  My friend, Candy, quoted her glass half full Mama as saying,  "My address doesn’t dictate my happiness!“  A good lesson to learn.  Candy’s parents retired from a Christian organization. She saw them live strictly on their social security checks and God never let them down.  Candy’s conclusion:  “So, I know He will take care of me, too.”

Moving from marble floors to linoleum today?  Its not your last move.  Heaven’s streets are golden.  I’ll joyfully claim that address.
