Chameleon

Surprise, surprise.  Today isn’t yesterday.  What’s new in your life today?  Starting a new job, a new relationship, a new stage of being alone?I envy the chameleon.    This little God constructed creature blended in to the realities of life in one environment.  And then the chameleon’s world changes.  Seemingly without a brain initiated decision, the chameleon changes color to fit in.   Safe, blended into new realities, all is well.

We have resources far above what chameleons have. We have a mind to reason, a conscience to guide us, and most importantly, the ability to communicate with our Creator.  Maybe its time to get to a quiet place and talk with Him.

The necessity of our new beginning is not a surprise to Him.  His answers to our questions may not be immediate.  But His comfort will be.
