Bragging about plans

M  I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.

M Our favorite financial resource is the Bible.  No other money book or investment tool comes close.  One theme is to plan ahead.  In those agrarian days, consider a field, plant a crop, take care of your herds.  Prepare with what you have for tomorrows needs.

V  James, the practical author of the Bible book of James cautions. Don’t  boast about money plans for tomorrow.  James 4:13 says Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”  Clearly people were bragging that they were out to get THEIRS.  Verse 14.  ‘You don’t even know what will happen tomorrow.’M Our response, ‘If our Lord wills.’PODCAST
