Attend a board meeting
Our children’s education is an important responsibility all parents share. While many complain and criticize public education, the fact is that most christian families children attend public schools. Only about two million of the 55 million students are home schooled and another 6 million are in private schools.
Rather than complain, why not determine to engage and impact this important place? School board meetings are public. Attend a meeting. You’ll learn much, and be noticed. Some are sparsely attended, others packed. Who knows? You may feel compelled to run and become a member of the school board. Show up not just for the controversial issues, but regularly to show your interest and support of efforts that matter to children. Engage positively, become informed
