Twelve years ago today, most of us were going through our daily routines with no clue regarding what the next day would bring. I arrived at my counseling office in a large public high school, my broadcaster husband commuted to his Chicago Loop office. In New York, business folks, restaurant workers, and financiers entered the Twin Towers to do what they did each day.
In hind sight, we know that a deadly plot was about to be executed that would kill 2,996 people, and devastate even more as families struggled through the aftermath.
You and I do not know what our tomorrow will bring. Let’s pause and ask ourselves this question? If a devastating blow beyond our comprehension was waiting for us tomorrow, how would we live today?
