Speak Encouragement 1
As Christ followers we have an all important mission today. One pure stand out in our present toxic culture is this. We can speak encouragement to others. Thanking a worker in the check out line, the librarian, the truck delivery guy, but let's go a step further.
Think of a relative, child, spouse, sister or brother. Text, write, or call with a specific planned word of encouragement for them. ‘I see you putting others before yourself. You have a servant’s heart. What a blessing.’
'I’ve seen your loyalty to friends, and family. They know they can count on you.'
Jesus did this. He called Peter a rock. Matthew 16:18. Imagine the impact on Peter after Jesus’ departure to Heaven. Speak encouragement to someone today.
