Mountain Hiking
Are you in a transition now? Like mountain hiking, we see the slope ahead, not the depth of the ravines in-between. You see and can plan some things; there will be much you cannot see.
A family health crisis brought me to where life’s demands were beyond my spiritual resources. My friend, we are in good company. Moses experienced God’s blessing and then doubted, left the area, and questioned returning.
We learn precious truths. It’s not about us and our ability. It's about God and His strength proved in new places. It’s not about what tools we have available. Boy David said no to Saul’s sword facing Goliath. Later he claimed Goliath’s sword, much bigger and used it successfully.
That transition in our life, is our transition to greater spiritual strength.
